The technique to install carpet tile is called direct glue down and it is used in commercial buildings like restaurants, stores and offices. In this type of installation, the carpet is glued directly to the concrete floor and it has to be very smooth.

Carpet Tiles are very common in restaurants and hotels because it’s a fast remodeling process to remove the old flooring and install new carpet.

Any imperfections in the floor have to be addressed before installation and that is why Frontline Works always check it prior to send the installation crew. That simple measure – to check if the concrete or hard floor is even and smooth – avoids headaches such as appearance of imperfections and wear spots.
